Vocational Training

It is extremely important to develop the skills of the youth. Young people are vital to our future and we believe championing their skill development through technical, and vocational education, training, and development will help close the skills gap and ultimately help the Angolan economy.

Currently, all industries still struggling to fill vacancies, yet still high youth unemployment. Big Muxima and the entire project are to approach and negotiate with various companies/industries to sign a protocol and take a more active role in helping to prepare young people with the skills and attitudes needed in the business world. Beyond filling this skills gap, businesses need to constantly innovate and change to retain a competitive edge in a dynamic market, and young people are uniquely placed to address both issues.

The plan organized and led by Big Muxima in partnership with vocational training institutes around the world, social organizations, and companies with work placement schemes, with the main target the youth in orphanages, plus the importance of early engagement with companies is to ensure the quality of the talent pipeline and enhance the future competitive advantage in business.
